Officers and Consumer Liaisons serve on a number of committees to better serve the PPP SIG. Currently, the PPP SIG carries out its mission and initiatives through the work of three standing committees: Website, Convention, and Public Relations.

Website Committee

Objectives

1. Develop the website with respect to PPP SIG-related information
2. Expand and update content on www.autismpppsig.org
3. Work closely with the Autism SIG regarding mutual website efforts

Objectives

1. Develop and distribute materials for parents attending the ABAI convention
2. Organize networking opportunities for parents and professionals at the convention
3. Inform SIG members about upcoming conference experiences
4. Provide an orientation for parent newcomers at the ABAI convention
5. Coordinate our activities with the Association for Behavior Analysis International

Objectives

1. Support the ABAI in reaching out to the local and adjoining communities of the region hosting each annual ABAI convention, but more extensively the Autism specific conferences
2. Forge alliances with organizations that have compatible goals with the PPP SIG.
3. Support the public awareness of the websites for the PPP SIG and the Autism SIG by sharing our resources with other organizations and distributing information about the SIG
